Snapped Ankles are known for their unique blend of krautrock, post-punk, and electronic music, often described as “forest-punk” or “techno-pagan”. Praised for their energetic live shows and a theatrical, almost ritualistic performance style. Their music is characterised by driving rhythms, psychedelic synths, and spoken word vocals, creating a sound that is both danceable and experimental.

Released in March this year, newest album Hard Times Furious Dancing shows that the Snapped Ankles have lost none of their drive and determination. You should come out the other side of this album with a quicker heartbeat and a strong desire to see them live so you can join the other wood-folk creating a human forest on the dance floor. Primal, cathartic, didactic, euphoric.
